Rack Status Monitor - The Rack Status Monitor quickly mounts to any M.I.C.E., OptiMICE, ErgoMICE or OptiRAT rack using our standard quick connect system. LCD display with push button operation provides for quick and easy monitoring of any rack's air air flow (read out in meters per second). Unit is long life battery powered, so no electrical outlet is necessary.

In-Line Pressure Gauge Assembly - Since it uses the same unique coupling system as our racks and flex hoses, it can be added to any rack in just seconds. It's portability and ease of use make it the ideal "roving sensor" to spot-check rack ventilation.

Trough Tunnel - This enrichment device improves the environment by providing a place for the mice to explore, hide, climb and nest.

Mouse Cage Tox Floor - This removable stainless steel insert provides a way to cage mice for use in toxicology studies that prevent the use of bedding. Includes a built in feature to hold the feeder.

Inhalation Nozzle - Designed to connect directly with the cage, it allows introduction of gas.

Cage Clips - Locks the cage top in place during transport.

Damper Assembly - This option gives the user a simple method to control the quantity of air through each rack. Using the same unique coupling system as our racks and flex hoses, it can be installed on the rack or in tamper-resistant locations near the celing exhaust.

Anemometer - Based on a high-accuracy portable, digital, commercially available anemometer, it features the same quick-connect capability as our ventilation hoses, In-Line Pressure Gauge, and Damper Assembly. Use it to quickly check the airflow to multiple M.I.C.E.® racks, check room ventilation, or log ventilation history. The RS-232 Interface allows data transfer to your PC from the internal 1000 point data logger. Shipped with Windows(R) software, interface cable, and 9V battery.

Cage Cards" - Standard 3" x 5" preprinted cards fit into the integral card holder in the cage top. Available in five colors for visual coding.

Water Bottle Washing Basket" - This stainless steel basket holds 24 water bottles in a 6 X 4 array. A simple locking mechanism holds bottles in place when inverted for drying.

Black Water Bottle Assembly" - Animal Care Systems is now offering M.I.C.E. system water bottles in opaque black color. This is to support increased customer requests for a bottle that will block all UV light to the contents of the bottle. Many facilities are now medicating water with additives such as antibiotics, which can be damaged or destroyed by exposure to light. No longer will it be necessary to wrap bottles in aluminum foil or paint them to limit light transmittance. Black bottles will be available only in polysulfone, therefore they are completely autoclavable at the highest temperatures normally used in the process. With a M.I.C.E. system black bottle cap, these bottles can be cleaned and autoclaved repeatedly with no adverse effects.

Rat Cage Tox Floor - Made from polished 304 stainless steel sheet, it provides a raised and open floor for toxicology studies using our Rat Cage. Rather than the traditional welded wire toxicology floors that are common in the animal care industry, ours is perforated sheet. The flat surface provides the animals a more comfortable living area and avoids the chronic foot injuries and lesions that are commonplace with animals that must live on wire tox floors. The large open area still allows waste matter to drop through effectively. This product is specifically designed to provide researchers with the proper equipment needed for studies while maintaining the highest possible quality of life for research animals.

Guinea Pig Feeder - Replaces our standard feeder with a J-Type feeder for use with power or granular type feed. Connects to the same point in our rat cage as our rat feeder. Made from polished stainless steel and holds .95 liters.
