Animal Care Systems proudly introduces ErgoMICE®, another option for the OptiMICE® system!

This group of racks provides a compact and ergonomic rodent caging alternative, while maintaining superior cage density. These lower cost, lightweight versions of our standard OptiMICE® racks can be configured to hold 50, 70 or 80 standard cages. The 50 and 70 cage versions are designed for service and maintenance with a minimum of bending or reaching. We also offer an 80-cage version that fills the lower portion of our short rack with three additional rows (30 cages). These racks use our standard OptiMICE® cages and are available in polycarbonate or two types of Polysulfone plastic. The 50 and 70 cage versions use our standard water bottles. The 80 cage version is available with water bottles or various automatic watering options. ErgoMICE® is simply the best possible system for optimizing space and enhancing quality of life for animals and their caregivers.

ErgoMICE®: Experience the Difference

ErgoMICE® can be positioned against a wall or next to another rack. By rotating the cylinder using conveniently located handles on each platter, marked and numbered cages are easily accessed. No need to waste space with large aisles and no need to move racks for access. Simply stand in one place and rotate the cylinder to bring the cage to you! Because ErgoMICE® creates an ideal environment, it is perfect for breeding, quarantine, bio-exclusion and conventional rodent housing for research. As with the M.I.C.E.® System, ErgoMICE® is free of noise, odors and allergens. HVAC-driven, heat loads from motors and blowers are eliminated.
